The Tinton Falls/Shrewsbury Home is full of excitement with a unique combination of four individuals: Timothy, Virginia, Jody, and Michael. They are truly like brothers and sisters, full of love and care for one another, with the occasional disputes and arguments that make them even more like family. Program Manager Diane Wells and her dedicated team think of the individuals in their care as an extension of their own family. Diane loves to capture photos from the many outings and experiences the residents enjoy each day, making sure families and guardians receive regular updates.
One of Virginia’s favorite activities is her Friends in Motion Dance Class in Farmingdale, which she has been attending every Friday for over two years. The class gives her a chance to relax, have fun, and express herself.
Recently, Diane suggested that Virginia invite Michael to join her for the class. Although Virginia was a bit hesitant at first, she eventually agreed, and as you can see from the picture to the right, the two now have double the fun attending together.
It has since become a regular routine for Virginia and Michael to stop for a quick snack after class, as shown in the photo below.
