From the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Aaron Soto headshotGreetings and I hope this finds you well. The AMIB Family/Friends/Supporters & Staff did it again and we are looking forward to keeping on doing what we do best, providing 24/7 housing opportunities to our very special niche population of adults with a visual impairment and intellectual/developmental disability. This past Spring we completed the renovations to our 17th and 18th Group Homes and welcomed moving in eight additional individuals to our AMIB Family.

At the time of this publishing we mourn the passing of Ken Carson, Jr., previous AMIB Board President who brought me on board in 2000. Ken was very special to AMIB and I cherish the relationship we had – he served as a mentor, role model advocate for people with disabilities, and friend. He will be deeply missed, and deeply proud that we continue to pursue AMIB’s mission in his absence.

Best in health,

Aaron Soto
